After his wife has passed away, the retired philosophy professor Matthew Morgan lost the spark of life and lives an uneventful life in Paris. When he finds by chance the young frenchwoman Pauline, his life takes a new turn. Pauline is caring and joyful, and as the odd couple gets closer, Matthew finally starts enjoying life.
