Theme: Shining Helen Mirren

English actress Helen Mirren was celebrating her 70th birthday few years ago. Her theatre career started when she was invited to join the Royal Shakespeare Company after National Youth Theatre. In RSC she played many roles, for example Cleopatra (1965) and Lady Macbeth (1974). Film career has been long: her first small film role was in Herostratus (1967). It was followed by for example Caligula (1979), Excalibur (1981), Hitchcock (2012) and The Hundred-foot journey (2014). Mirren's title role of The Queen (2006) earned her numerous acting awards, including the Academy Award for Best acress. The newest movie is Collateral beauty (2016).
