9 is an imaginative and computer-animated fairy tale for adults and children created by the Oscar-nominated director Shane Acker in cooperation with, among others, Tim Burton. The little rag doll 9 wakes up in a completely abandoned world where all people have disappeared and terrifying monsters machines have taken over. By chance, he encounters a small community of others who have taken shelter from the machines. Although 9 is new in the group, he convinces everyone to find out why the machines are after them. They will soon realize that civilization's survival depends on them.
