A Difficult Year
•
Albert and Bruno are both compulsive shoppers, in debt to their ears. As a last attempt at climbing up from the hole they have dug for themselves, they join a support-group for compulsive shoppers. One day they run into some young climate activists who invite them along for a meeting. Lured by promises of free beer and crisps more than the ideals of the climate movement, they tag along. Without any greater convictions of the cause and with hidden motives, Albert and Bruno gradually become members of the group. It gets even more complicated when they end up with good friends and an unexpected sense of community among the activists.
