The detective couple, Lasse and Maja are well known from Martin Widmark crime series Lasse Maja's Detective Agency. In this film adventures, they find a mysterious chest that has been hidden for 250 years. The coffin is found to belong to the eccentric family von Brake. The discovery means that a centuries-old family fights flare up again and suddenly the casket is stolen. Now it's up to the famous detectives to find out who stole the casket and why.
