Actor Josef Hader has written the script, directs the film and plays the main character Georg in this movie. A film about the music critic Georg, who after several years on the same newspaper is abruptly terminated, and instead of telling this to his wife, psychiatrist Johanna (Pia Hierzegger), he pretends to go to work every day. But Georg walks around in a park with two other lost souls, Erich and Nicoleta, and together with them they restore an old rollercoaster called The Wild Mouse. While Georg's marriage is falling apart, he is also planning a revenge on his boss. A revenge that starts quite innocent but ends up with a loaded gun. Stephen Dalton at The Hollywood reporter thinks that Haders screenplay is also an elegantly constructed affair.
