Modern Times

Allowed to all 83 minutes 1936 8.5

Charlie Chaplin is the Tramp who meets the assembly line. The Tramp is beaten and barked at inside the factory when the a food machine one day makes the lunch break last for just 15 minutes. Dismissed and unemployed, he accompanies a homeless in a search for happiness and money. By chance, they meet a singing waiter, whose hilarious song is gibberish, a felon and many more. Modern times became Chaplin's last silent movie and is today considered one of the really classic comedies in film history. Contemporary reviewers lauded it and it belonges to a small range of films that have won 100% in a collective rating on the Rotten Tomatoes movie site.
