Two Days, One Night
When Sandra (Marion Cotillard) returns to work after a sick leave for depression, she learns that she is no longer needed. Colleagues have had to choose whether they want a bonus or let Sarah come back. Sandra manages to convince the management to carry through a vote. Now she has two days and one night to convince her colleagues to sacrifice their bonuses so that she can keep her job. The Belgian brothers Dardenne continue to portray the people of Europe's lower economic layer, those living on the edge of the abyss. Cotillard was nominated for an Oscar for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role.
