Hapkido

Over 16Contains violence 97 minutes 1972 6.8

During the 1930s, three Chinese friends are in Korea to study hapkido. Korea is occupied by Japan at the time, and when a Japanese man starts harassing the friends in a park, they are forced to use their new skills to defend themselves. Afterwards, they decide to return to China to open their own school where they can teach hapkido in the way their master taught them, but it turns out to be much more difficult than they had expected. Angela Mao, who plays one of the students of hapkido, was one of Hong Kong cinema's brightest stars in the 1970s and was likened to a female version of Bruce Lee.
