The old oak

The Old Oak tells the story of a mining town in England that is slowly dying since the mine was closed. When a group of Syrian refugees arrive, local pubowner TJ Ballantyne decides to help them, since they've had a very cold welcome from the local community. TJ's efforts is opposed by his regular customers, and his old pub 'The Old Oak' is literally falling apart. Still, he refuses to give up, and hope finally appears in the former hopeless town.
