Double Lover

With Double Lover, was french director François Ozon nominated for the third time for the Golden Palm at the Cannes Film Festival. The story is about Chloé, who, after being helped with her depression, falls in love with her psychotherapist Paul. At first, Paul seems to have everything she has been looking for and he treats her lovingly and tenderly, but shortly after they move together, she discovers a new side of him. "Double demand is overcrowded by mirrors and mirrors, double-sided and doubles," writes Jan Söderqvist in SvD. The film is based on Lives of The Twins by Joyce Carol Oates.
