The party
Janet (Kristin Scott Thomas) wants to celebrate that she finally got a seat in the British Parliament and invite a group of friends to a party. During the party, her husband Bill (Timothy Spall) reveals two unexpected secrets, and suddenly the tone of the party goes into a completely different direction than expected. Karolina Fjellborg at Aftonbladet writes: "The black and white, claustrophobic chamber play The party is both a classic fars and a current social and political satire, with brilliant dialogue and a bunch of super professionals who seem to love every minute". The film was a winner at the Berlin Film Festival and director Sally Potter was also nominated.
The film is not playable outside of Finland
