Steamboat Bill, Jr

Allowed to all 70 minutes 1928 7.8

William Canning Jr. (Buster Keaton) has not met his father since he was little, but after a promise to his mother, he travels to the city where his father owns a riverboat to help him with the business. Young William is not quite what his father had hoped for, but he has bigger problems to contend with. A wealthy businessman named J. J. King has come to town with a more modern boat and is now threatening to put them out of business. When William meets King's daughter Kitty, they take a liking to each other, which does not lessen the rivalry of the two fathers.
